🌼 Why Every Step Counts: Motivation for the Slow, the Tired, and the Busy Bees

Running isn’t always pretty.
Some days you’re flying…
and some days you’re wondering why your left butt cheek feels like it’s on strike.

But here’s a truth I want every runner — especially every new runner — to know:

Every step counts. Even the messy ones.

Even the ones where you’re walking more than jogging.
Even the ones where you feel heavy, exhausted, or “too slow.”
Even the ones where your brain is screaming:
“Why did we sign up for this??”

Because running isn’t about perfection.
It’s about practice/consistency.
It’s about showing up.
It’s about honoring the version of you that wants to feel stronger, healthier, lighter (physically/mentally), happier — even if still figuring it out.

Slow is not a speed. It’s a pace.

And pace is personal.
Your pace. Your journey/battles. Your victory.

The runner at the front and the runner at the back cross the same finish line.
They get the same medal.
They earn the same pride.

We run for different reasons, but we all run with one goal: to become a better version of ourselves.

And some days, “better” simply means you showed up.

If you’re reading this and thinking:
“I don’t know if I’m a real runner…”

Let's be clear:
If you run — at any speed — you’re a runner.

Now lace up, maybe add a little sparkle or motivation to those laces, and take today’s steps… whatever they look like.

Your future self is already cheering. 🐝✨
