Charm Care + How To Wear
Charm Care + How to Wear
Your BeeCause Charms are made to go wherever your shoes take you.
BeeCause Charms are durable, water-resistant metal alloy shoelace charms designed for everyday wear. Each charm weighs approximately 6 grams and can be added to most traditional lace-up shoes.
How to Add Your BeeCause Charms
Adding a charm is easy, and you can change your look anytime.
-
Choose where you want your charm.
Decide where you'd like the charm to sit on your shoe and unlace the shoe down to that point. -
Thread your shoelaces through the charm.
Feed the shoelaces through the attachment on the back of the charm as shown in our demonstration. -
Use both laces for the most secure fit.
Threading both shoelaces through the charm helps keep it centered and minimizes movement while you're wearing your shoes. -
Continue lacing your shoe.
Once the charm is in position, continue lacing your shoe normally. -
Lace up and go!
Adjust the charm so it's facing the way you want it, tie your shoes and you're ready to show off your story.
Want a little more movement? A charm can be worn using a single lace, but it may shift or move more than when secured with both laces.
Mix, Match + Make Them Yours
There's no single right way to wear BeeCause Charms.
Wear one charm as a small statement, add several to one shoe, coordinate both shoes or mix completely different designs that tell your story.
Changing your charms is as simple as unlacing your shoe to the charm, removing it and threading on something new.
Made for Real Life
BeeCause Charms are made from a durable metal alloy with enamel-colored details and are designed to handle normal everyday wear.
They're also water resistant, so normal exposure to rain, sweat and splashes shouldn't stop you from wearing your charms.
We've even had BeeCause Charms — including personalized charms with resin dome covers — hold up through shoe washing. However, because washing machines, detergents and wash settings vary, removing your charms before machine washing your shoes is the best way to help preserve their appearance for as long as possible.
Caring for Your Charms
BeeCause Charms don't require much maintenance.
If your charms get dirty, gently wipe them with a soft damp cloth and allow them to air dry.
For crystal charms, a soft cloth can also be used to clean around the crystals without unnecessarily pulling or picking at them.
For personalized photo charms, avoid intentionally picking or pulling at the edge of the clear resin dome.
Caring for Your Shoelaces
BeeCause Charms are designed to be worn on shoelaces and generally should not snag or damage the lace material.
Very occasionally, an individual charm may have an interior surface that catches or pulls at a particular shoelace. If you notice this happening, stop sliding that charm along the lace and contact us so we can help.
Built to Last — And Backed by BeeCause
The hard metal construction makes BeeCause Charms durable enough for everyday life. Normal drops and everyday handling generally aren't a concern.
But sometimes things happen.
A crystal may come loose. A resin dome may separate or yellow. Or an individual charm may develop a manufacturing-related issue.
That's why authentic BeeCause Charms are backed by our Lifetime Sparkle Guarantee.
If your charm qualifies for replacement, we'll replace it with the same design whenever it's still available. If that design has been discontinued or is no longer available, you may choose another available BeeCause Charm as your replacement.
